Iran dates land in 50 countries

A total of 50 countries across the global imported Iran’s dates during the last five months of the Iranian calendar year, local media says.

According to a Tuesday report quoting Iran’s Customs Office, the exported dates during the period based on the Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22) were hosted by countries such as Pakistan, Japan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Australia, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Indonesia and the US.

In the same period, Iran popular agricultural produce, saffron and honey, were also exported to 30 and 14 countries, respectively.  

Blessed with rich soil, favorable climate and plenty of space, Iran produces diverse and high-quality agricultural products.
